Sam & Dom Engagement

Old New Castle, Delaware

Samantha and Dom are a couple I connected with pretty much immediately. When I woke up and saw that it was snowing I was so. damn. excited. I think we all were! We spent the morning walking around Old New Castle, trying to stay warm (Sam was in open toed shoes and at times flip flops... a real trooper), taking photos, and hanging out. Afterwards we grabbed some lunch and beverages at Jessop's Tavern and went on our merry way until I get to spend the day photographing them in August for their wedding, which should be much warmer and just as fun.

Katie & Mike

On Katie and Mike's wedding April showers happened a day early. On March 31st, there wasn't a break in the clouds all day but that was just perfectly fine with all of us. Katie and Mike had a small wedding in Oaklyn, NJ with a short ceremony, no reception, and immediate family in attendance. With such an intimate ceremony and a lot of time dedicated to wandering and taking pictures, I really got to know and enjoy my time spent with this lovely couple. When I say they were perfectly fine with the rain, I mean they seemed almost excited about it. With clear umbrellas and rain boots in tow, (except I decided to wear suede boots...which.. never again) we drove around to several spots that were special to Katie and spent the afternoon embracing the weather and taking photos.
